Dog Boarding Kennels

Your dog is your best friend and when they stay with Tail Waggers Pet Resort they becomes our new best friend. Dogs are a joy to keep. Each one has their own personality just like people. Our daily activities are geared for each personality type and our spacious accommodations keep everyone safe and happy.

During your pet's stay they will enjoy:

  • Outdoor playtime three times a day –Free of charge!
  • Lots of human interaction
  • Hourly evaluations to make sure everyone is happy and clean
  • Freshly prepared meals served each morning (or per your instructions) for an extra charge. We highly recommend bringing your own food.
  • Spacious air conditioned or heated accommodations
  • Soft bedding is provided or you may bring your own
  • All dog kennels are kept clean, dry, and sanitary
  • We try to schedule cleaning during outdoor activity times so as not to disturb your dog.
  • Medications can be administered per your instruction FREE
    of charge. Our staff is fully trained to administer oral medications safely.

Cat Boarding

  • Separate cat boarding room which provides your kitty with a soothing environment

     Tail Waggers offers dog boarding, grooming, and daycare services for your beloved fur babies. We have been in business for over 20 years.


    We offer these services for both cats and dogs.

  • What are your business hours?

    Business Hours:

    8:00 AM – 4:00 PM M-F


    Grooming Dropoffs:

    8:00 AM – 8:830 AM M-F Reservation Required

    Pets must be picked up by 3:00 PM


    Boarding Dropoffs and Pickups:

    8:30 AM – 3:00 PM M-F

    Pets must be picked up by 3:00 PM

    8:00 AM – 10:00 AM Saturday

    No Office Hours Sundays

  • Do you offer full service grooming?

    Yes! Our grooming services include bath, brush/blow-out, nail trim, ear cleaning, anal glands expressed, hair cut, and perfume/cologne.

  • Will my dog be happy in the kennel?

    Yes, our Dog boarding kennels include spacious, air-conditioned, heated dog runs, separate housing areas to allow different personalities to be comfortable, and three fenced-in outdoor play areas.


  • What's your vaccination policy?

    For any of our services: grooming, boarding, or daycare we require proof of immunization within one year for Rabies and Bordatella/Parainfluenza vaccines. DHLP is required unless your veterinarian states otherwise

  • Where are you located?

    Our dog and cat boarding facilities are centrally located between League City and Dickinson.  We are very near the South Shore Harbor area.
